The 3M™(TM) Cable Grounding Kit 2254 provides a simple, reliable and secure method for grounding and resealing of the jacket of direct buried distribution cables. This kit is designed for use with jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) power cables ranging from 500-1000 kcmil, rated through 35 kV. A common kit application is for grounding a primary neutral at least every 1320 (1/4 mile) per Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Bulletin 83-1. Kit includes: 1 roll Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228, 1 roll Scotch® 33+(TM) Vinyl Electric Tape, 1 Tin-plated copper inC in connector, 1 10 inch length of tin plated copper braid, 1 mastic seal strip, 1 constant force spring, and 1 set of instructions.
